Michael Jackson DNA Cologne

That’s right. You can grab yours for $59.99. It is a new cologne set to be release just in time for the holiday made from samples of Michael Jackson’s DNA. I am still wondering if his DNA was taken with his consent or scrapped from his dead body. [Article via Idiolator]

File this under News Of The Shameless (And Just Plain Revolting). Spinnerreports that L.A.-based company My DNA Fragrance will now be shilling a new cologne called M, supposedly made from samples of Michael Jackson’s DNA.

And here you were thinking the MJ cash-ins couldn’t get any worse than A&E’sThe Jacksons: A Family Dynasty!

Now, for all you holiday shoppers out there looking for the perfect stocking stuffer, here’s the description of M—which can be pre-ordered “for only $59.99″—from My DNA Fragrance’s official site:

“M is an exclusive one-of-a-kind fragrance that explodes into an indescribable fragrance, which seemly draws the attention of every person in the room. It is composed of the lightest, but most volatile essences. Much like the performer himself, this cologne is unique and like no other cologne in the world. We guarantee it. M is engineered from the DNA genetic code of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.”

Lovely. The first thing that comes to mind is, what the hell does a Michael Jackson cologne smell like? Then again, we’re probably better off never knowing. Ever.

Spinner notes that this “exploding” miracle came about via John Reznikoff, who apparently has the world’s largest collection of historical hair, including Jackson’s.

So, like, this is December 1, and not April 1, right?
